  • Connect Casa Chiri to your church or congregation

    ongoing

A large part of what we are doing in Alexandria, and the surrounding community, is trying to unite the body of Christ through involvement with Casa Chirilagua. It is our hope that the Lord will use us to connect the immigrant community and the local church body. We are looking for opportunities to share our story in services, sunday school classes, and small groups. Please contact Dawnielle if you would like her to meet with your church leadership or have her speak at a gathering at your place of worship.

  • In-Home Mentors

    Flexible, 1hr per week, ongoing

Make a difference in the life of a child in Arlandria. Mentors will meet with their student for one hour per week to read, provide homework assistance, and most importantly, build a relationship with their child.  By being a caring, compassionate, and consistent mentor, you can help a child come closer to reaching their full potential.  Mentors generally meet with students in the student’s home or at the library, depending on the comfort of the mentors, student, and parents.
